Stephens/Brass Ark trombone

This is a trombone commissioned by Noah Gladstone, owner of The Brass Ark in California, and Conn trombone lover. This horn is an homage to the Conn trombones of the 1920’s using today’s technology. Some features:

  • 2 piece seamed red brass flare bell with steel rim wire, soldered

  • - seamed red brass first branch bow or tuning slide

  • - .547" bronze outer slide with bronze hand bent bow

  • - vintage/traditional flat wrap in bronze

  • - tuning in the bell or tuning in the slide

  • - Swiss made Caidex rotary valve

  • - removable lead pipes

  • - Lacquered, raw brass on request
